Frequently asked questions
Does TGM-7 work with my 3D printer?
Yes, TGM-7 works with most MSLA and DLP printers using 365-420nm UV light, including Phrozen, Anycubic, Elegoo, and Prusa. Not compatible with laser SLA printers or PDMS vats – use FEP, NFEP, PFA, or ACF films only. Settings: ameralabs.com/3d-printing-settings
Is TGM-7 easy to print with?
TGM-7 has higher viscosity than regular brittle resins, therefore it might need some extra supports to avoid sagging. Tips: Support columns 1.5-2mm, tips 0.2-0.6mm. Use light off delay to allow resin to settle before exposure. Consult TGM-7 Printing Guide for more information.
Do TGM-7 prints get brittle over time?
No, TGM-7 stays tough and flexible long-term. It has 8.22 kJ∙m-2 impact resistance to survive drops and 75-85 Shore D hardness to hold detail. Avoid prolonged water, humidity, solvents, or temperatures above 60°C.
Can I mix TGM-7 colors?
Yes, all TGM-7 colors use identical settings, so you can mix white, red, yellow, and blue freely to create custom shades.
How much does TGM-7 cost per miniature?
About €0.25-0.70 per 32mm miniature. A typical figure uses 3-9g of resin. A bottle of resin will print up to 120 minis, depending on dimensions.
Can I wash TGM-7 prints with water?
No, use IPA only. Wash station: 10 minutes. Maximum submersion: 30 minutes. Ultrasonic: 10 minutes max. Finished prints are not moisture resistant.
Do I need to mix TGM-7 with other resins?
No, TGM-7 is already formulated with the right balance of toughness and detail for miniatures. Mixing may compromise these properties.
